Hello outsider, welcome to the streets of Arcadia. Before you go roaming off, let me give you a few tips on how to survive out here. First of all, you must use all five of your senses. You will need sight, touch, taste, hearing, and smell, if you are to survive the night. Most importantly, listen to your instincts, they will guide you. You will need to watch your back, and keep your friends close, but keep your enemies closer. It's dog eat dog out here, and I hope for your sake, that you will remember these words, because you just stepped into our world. The world of the stray dogs on the Blueside.
FORECAST:
The weather in Arcadia is warming up, but the sky is rarely sunny, as giant rain filled clouds cover most of the sky. Flowers are blooming, and life is returned once more to the town, as signs of life pop up all over. The beaches are beautiful, the waves are gentle and nonthreatening. Tide goes in at around 5pm, so make sure you're off the beach before dark, or you'll be stuck on the cliffs for the night!
Mads says, "I have full access to Lime's account. Take it down one more time and I'll fuck with things." -clears throat- "and I helped with this site." C:
Here are the laws of Blueside. Under no condition can they be broken. Please read these rules before joining, as they contain the codeword you will need when you are making your first character. This is where you can find information on current plots, general rules, and any other important information you may need.
This is a guest friendly lace visitors can come to advertise or affiliate their sites. Don't worry! We don't bite...hard. If you are linking back, please post in the advertising board, as we currently lack a LB board. Affiliates in affiliates and ads in ads and so forth.
This is where old, forgotten, or finished posts will be put. Feel free to look back on them, and if you see you post has gone missing, it's probably in here.
This would be the board fit for all your out of character needs. Chat away, or make a studio, or graphics page. Make a page about yourself, tell everyone a little about the puppet master behind the characters... or if you're going away, make sure you post a notice about it here in the absent board.
Well, it's exactly what it says! This is the games and contests board. Participate in contests made by staff or other members, maybe win some points... Or just play a few games when you're bored! This is a board made for your amusement
You've worked hard to earn all those points of yours ( earned by posting and participating in contests and other things ) and now you have a place to spend them! Browse through the shop, and then PM Lime with your request!
This is a place where you can keep track of what's happening in your character's life. Write it from their perspective, telling their opinions and ideas of things. This is also a place you can keep logs to keep track of all your characters
Here you can find relations for your dogs, maybe set them up in a mini plot with some other charries. This is also a great place to put up a personal ad to get them a mate, or even just a friend or an enemy...
Found that special someone...? Decided you are ready for the hassle of puppies? Post here using the required form, and within a few days, your puppies will be born!
West beach is a beautiful soft snow white beach, complete with a stunning crystal clear ocean. Cliffs surround this usually deserted beach, and some willows and ferns cling to the dusty edges. There are some small caves in the sandy walls, and some dogs may choose to inhabit them. Watch out, because you don't want to be on the beach when the tide comes in, or you'll be stuck in the water!
The lighthouse is abandoned, and the light no longer points the way for ships, but this towering structure is a very romantic place if you have the stamina to climb the five flights of stairs that it takes to get to the top. A rusty bell also sits, untouched in the lighthouse. This beautiful, ancient structure is built just above heron point, and overlooks it, and the ocean.
Heron point, is a cluster of smooth rocks, varying in size from pebbles to boulders. The tide only half covers it when its all the way in, but when the tide's out, it strands many small fish, crabs, and other tasty sealife in tiny tidepools between the rocks, making heron point a perfect place for hunting.
Mainstreet. The true heart of the small town of Arcadia. There are many small businesses, shops, and restauraunts to explore. Sure, dogs are not exactly welcome into the shops, but hey! Rules are made to be broken, right?
This peaceful, grassy place is a place that humans and dogs can both enjoy. It has ancient trees and a large pond in the middle of it, that is home to many a small fish. This pond is also a great place to cool off during the scorching summer months. Rest in the shade under trees, romp in the spacious grass feilds, or dig up some flowerbeds, whatever you please!
Ah...The suburbs. The busy part of the city. Identical human houses aligned in perfect horisontal lines, all facing towards the ocean. This is a place where pet dogs originate from. There are many humans here willing to take in an unwilling stray, so watch out!
The garbage dump. A perfect home for any true stray. You can find a decent, if not bad smelling den just about anywhere. The rats that scurry amongst the rotting food and debris also make for a quick meal, but too many could make you sick...
The train station is a place humans, and occasionally dogs, use to get in and out of Arcadia. If you manage to sneak on this train, its a fast trip to outside the city, otherwise, it might take you a few days to walk there. This is also a very dangerous place is you don't have your senses about you at all times, beacuse, they always say trains are silent, until it's too late.
This place was once a huge fabric warehouse, but now all that remains of it are some decaying walls and boxes, and some old dirty pieces of fabric. This place is bad news, and only the most dangerous of dogs will occupy its dark spaces. This place, is not for the faint of heart...
This is no gentle creek. This glacier fed river is considered very dangerous all year round. In the spring, there is a salmon migration, that is a fantastic food source for any hungry dog, but also in the spring and early summer, when the glaciers are starting to melt, the water levels go dangerously high, and any dog that gets too close has a high risk of being swept away
This old, old barn has been here scince the 1930's and is still standing strong. Now of course, there is now livestock living in the barn, just a few mice living in the dusty hay that lines the floors and walls. This barn would be a great place to come to be truly alone...
